have my skin tags removed

next step: literally, I just have to make an appointment
deadline: this is just a gift to myself so I feel better about myself. I’d love to have it done by (but not ON!) my birthday 4/19/09.

I made a doctor’s appointment and it’s on Wednesday- with any luck she’ll remove them for me, or tell me how to safely do it myself?

I found out it’s $50—now, I don’t know if that is for each one, or for two because the receptionist confused me on the phone, I have to say… but, either way that’s an amount I am willing to pay to get rid of them once and for all and not feel self-conscious when I go sleeveless.

I now have a phone number to call and see how much this would cost. If it’s really affordable- I will do it after Christmas sometime. This will be a big relief for me.

I’ve heard that you can remove them yourself, too, but I’m also too scared to try it! I have a bunch of small ones on my neck and around my eyes. When I was pregnant, I got a lot more and the ones I already had got a lot bigger, but they all went away after a few months. My mom had a ton of them and had to go to the dermatologist every year or so to have them removed.

They are annoying and I’ve had two my whole life (one on each armpit) and they make me very self-conscious when I wear anything sleeveless. I want them gone. I have a couple small ones on my neck, too. I’ve heard you can do it yourself, but I am afraid.
