How I did it: my aunt got me tickets to see wicked with her and my cousins .and i was really excited and so i was praying to meet
idina menzel. and my cousins who at the time where 8 and 10. had made pictures for idina menzel
the show was amazing let me tell you just amazing . after all the cast had taken their
bows idina Menzel came out to lobby and my cousin walked up to her and hugged her and then gave her the picture and she smiled . and then my cousin and i walked up to her and started talking to her and she asked if we wanted to see where she hangs all the pictures and drawings that the kids give her . and we said sure she showed us and signed
our cd's she was just really nice and kind and i hope i meet her again.

It may be easier to achieve this when we get back to the states. Being in the mountains of Japan is not conducive to accomplishing this particular goal….. :(
so i didn’t meet her yet, but i did SEE stephen schwartz on thursday. just walking down the street in st. paul!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was sooooo exciting.
i met her in NYC before the movie RENT came out. she signed my soundtrack and stole my pen! but otherwise she was super nice
She was lovely! Very sweet and quiet though, difficult to believe she’s the girl known and loved for playing the not-so-shy Maureen! Doesn’t say much more than “thank you so much”. If you want eye-contact, I’d advise giving her a card or something, as people that do seem to be the only ones she looks at…
But I met her and that was enough for me!
i don’t know if i’ll ever get to meet her…and so the best that i can do is pray…
idina is my role model. i just want to meet her…or see her perform…that’s all!! i’m not even close to doing this yet! :’(
I think she is an amazing singer, actor, role model, pretty, and down to earth. I would love too meet her and get her autograph!!
I was lucky to see Idina as Elphaba in Wicked in London the other month. I was four rows back from the front and got chills when she was performing. I rushed out to the stage door to see if I could meet her. I waited for about an hour or so and out came Idina, I got her autograph and got a photo with her! x
