Day 1 – 05/01/2013 – Speeds of 6.5 and 8.5. The 5 minute runs were a bit of hard work. The 3 minuite runs are a lot easier now, even though they were hard work the day before. I think a lot of the difficulty of the runs is in my head. Although I am not leaving rest days in between at this stage, I may need to later on. Will have to listen to my body carfully. 4 months ago

Day 1 – 02/01/13 – I have skipped the last one of week 2. Found the 3 minute run challenging but do-able. Goint about 6.5 on the walks and 8.5 on the runs.
Day 2 – 03/01/13 – Doing this and the 30 Day shred simultaneously so the old thigh muscles are taking a bit of a hammering. Bumped up walk speed to 6.8 and the run speed to 8.8. Was counting down the seconds to walk time during the 3 minute runs but I like the fewer number of changes as the run times are getting longer.
Day 3 – 04/01/13 – Stayed with the 6.8 and 8.8 speeds. The 3 min runs aren’t too bad if i dont focus on the count down. Going away for a couple of days tomorrow….away from the treadmill. Dont know if I will be able to palm off the kids and go for a road run. May have to wait till I come home. 4 months ago

I actually completed this last year, after joining cross country. I ran a 10k the other day without stopping and was surprised at how much I’ve improved. If you keep at it and don’t stop no matter how badly you want to, it can be done. And the feeling is amazing. Going for a 20 minute 5k this year! 21 months ago
