see Morrissey in concert

Mixed feelings about this…

He’s known to cancel concerts, his current band just don’t have what the smiths had (OK thats mostly Johnny Marr), I’m 50/50 about much of his solo material and the Smiths songs he’s doing on his current tour don’t do so much for me.
Oh, and I couldn’t find a friend enthusiastic enough to come with me (found two for The Police!) so it’s a lonely trip!

That said, this tour (Refusal) is better material than the Ringleader album. He’s playing I can get to relatively easily and I think I have an OK seat. City Halls and theatres are way better than arenas so I’m pleased about that. All-in-all I’m excited and satisfied. Now I have to forget about it until the end of October!

Will be seeing him for the fourth time in December and he just keeps getting better!!

...been a major player on the soundtrack of my life at 16.
So, seeing him a Dec. ago really was ‘one of those things’ that I will see in those last flashes of my life.
