This paintball hobby has really taken off with my bro and me. We went out and bought new equipment and try to go to the paintball field at lease twice a month.
Now I want to make an effort to be closer to my sis. She is at college about an hour away. I want to at least call her once a week. Being that she lives in a big city, I bought her a tazer to keep in her purse. I worry about her.
We’re going Paintballing this weekend. It will be good for us to have similar interests and hobbies.
My brother (14 years old) is visiting with me this week. We live an hour apart, so it is not often we can visit…Plus, he is very active in band and soccer. I was able to pick him up over the July 4th holidays. We have some big plans over the next few days…movies, golf, bowling, zoo, out to eat, and whatever else we decide to do.
There is a large age gap between my siblings and me. I’m 13 years older than my sis. 20 years older than my bro. I desire to be a better influence in their lives and always be there when they need me. They are teenagers now, and growing up very fast. This is another one of those lifelong goals I will always work on.

My bother is 9 years old. And yes he can be a pain in the ass in that 9-year-old kind of way, but he’s a good kid. I only see him every other week or so, and when I do we just play videogames or do other mindless stuff. I need to start teaching him about his New Mexican roots. He is half Anglo and half Nuevo Mexicano (I would normally use the term Raza meaning Mestizo, but lets not get on that subject) I should be teaching him Spanish. Telling him about all the great leaders and people in our history because he will never learn those things in school. I need to be telling him this stuff now before he fully assimilates and wont want to hear about it.
