How I did it: I saved, saved and saved, and waited for the best prices.Got a D60 NIKON for like 400 bucks.. brand new...It does take time, but I think the more you wait the more you'll enjoy it after. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made various design/artwork projects for a client. The money charged for services were used to get my camera :)My client asked for a couple of logos for his new companies. I took note of what he wanted and made 2 designs which summarized the feeling of what his companies wanted to portray. I also provided with the design, additional stationary, which tallied up to about 200 dollars. With that money I went on and got my camera. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I received it as a Christmas present. A digital SLR, it's a beaut for sure. I haven't used it much in a while, but I'm hoping the summer months will bring about some use... Read how I did it…

I bought my new camera today. Double the pixels of the mobile camera phone I’ve been using. The quality of my camera phone is great, but I do find I miss out on detail when I’m trying to capture something at a long distance. Look forward to seeing if my new camera enhances my results :)

These are the cameras recommended by our friend who graduated from AFI (American Film Institute): Canon XH A1 Digital Camcorder OR for more portability/even cheaper, the Canon HV20 or HV30. He said that these are the least expensive, but still high quality for digital filming such as we’re planning.

MY next trip came sooner than planned and I wasn’t in a position to buy the dream camera. But I have to have it for my november trip.
My old camera broke (no fault of mine) but it was no longer under warranty (missed it by a week). I need to find a camera that takes the clearest pictures I can get for a $100-200 range. I’m not looking for anything too fancy because I’m not planning on doing anything too fancy with it. I plan on asking friends (especially the ones with quality pictures on facebook) what camera they have and how they like it.

I’ve had a photo challenge goal up here on 43T for a while. It’s reminded me that I enjoy taking photos and capturing moments in time. I’ve just been using my camera phone, as my last camera had water damage and will be costly to repair. I’ve decided it’s time to invest in a new camera. After my next pay I’ll start looking

i began taking photos, really taking photos, not the silly snap shots you can find on a variety of sites of people at parties and whatever, ok tangent, so i began taking photos a couple of years ago and realized this person of observation can use that to look at the world. as cliche as it sounds, photography has given me new eyes to appreciate this life i’m living. being with out a camera for a few months was suffocating. i purchased a basic snap and shoot camera until i buy what i really want. i’m relieved that i can once again express myself through what already exists.
