buy a camera

MY next trip came sooner than planned and I wasn’t in a position to buy the dream camera. But I have to have it for my november trip.

My old camera broke (no fault of mine) but it was no longer under warranty (missed it by a week). I need to find a camera that takes the clearest pictures I can get for a $100-200 range. I’m not looking for anything too fancy because I’m not planning on doing anything too fancy with it. I plan on asking friends (especially the ones with quality pictures on facebook) what camera they have and how they like it.

I’ve had a photo challenge goal up here on 43T for a while. It’s reminded me that I enjoy taking photos and capturing moments in time. I’ve just been using my camera phone, as my last camera had water damage and will be costly to repair. I’ve decided it’s time to invest in a new camera. After my next pay I’ll start looking

i began taking photos, really taking photos, not the silly snap shots you can find on a variety of sites of people at parties and whatever, ok tangent, so i began taking photos a couple of years ago and realized this person of observation can use that to look at the world. as cliche as it sounds, photography has given me new eyes to appreciate this life i’m living. being with out a camera for a few months was suffocating. i purchased a basic snap and shoot camera until i buy what i really want. i’m relieved that i can once again express myself through what already exists.

i’m anxious even acknowledging the fact that i don’t have a camera right now! mine was stolen in december, with many beautiful pictures still not downloaded. so i’m in the process of saving (hardly) and waiting. hard, very hard.

I so wanna buy a camera. I wanna become a photographer when I get older. I lovw taking pictures, there are so many thing I could take pics of, but I dont have a camera. I have to wait like two months before I can buy a cam. Its a long time. I want a cam now!

so i always wanted a camera..a pink one..but i just dont wanna spend all my saving to buy it…
soooo…my mom was out of town for couple months…she sent me this package..and there is a brand new camera in it!
she said its for me!! even thought is blue but i still like it :)

I am almost certainly going to buy the canon eos 50D. If not the 40D but most likely the 50. Someone has persuaded me that for professional work, I need the extra 5 Megapixels.

the 50D is worth AUS$1800 for body only
40D is AUS$1200

I am still researching the lens.

Everything about this business is expensive.
The memory cards are pricey, so is the cable release and the flash unit. Maybe I will skip the flash and cable.

I want to get Digital SLR Camera ..

I am really interested in photography..

I bough a regular digital camera, las year, but it was broken so I return it..

thank god.. b/c I rather pay more and get a better camera, a more professional one

I convince my dad to pay half of it.. how? I don’t know, but I did lol..

So I will put 200 and he will put the rest (I know that is not 50/50 but that is all I can at this moment)

Hopefully by the end of the month I can take this out of my list
