Well, of course I signed up for a class, but more importantly, I’ve taken steps to make sure the lessons sinks in. I have arranged to speak spanish with my spanish buddy. We just talk on the phone about whatever, or meet for lunch and speak spanish.
It gets difficult when they get outside of the area I’ve studied, but that in of itself is helpful. You’re not always gonna understand what the other person is saying and you’ll need to ask for clarification.
Getting a spanish buddy to have regular chats with definitely helps propel me to success with this goal.
