remodel my room

I bought some cheap lumber today to try constructing a bedframe that will double as bookshelves.

It likely won’t look very good, assuming I can even manage it, but I’m fine with it being more functional than stylish.

it’s plain..white walls, greyish whitish carpet. but it looks nice. we’re going to put my furniture in there real soon, and im going to get a tv, and then im going to buy DDR so i can get some excersize. =] i’m so glad.

I’m moving into my brothers room now since he moved out this month..we tore the carpet out and everything, and we’re going to paint the walls white. It’s just going to be plain..but I’m going to put a tv and dvd player and some sweet stuff like that in there. =] i’m excited. maybe i’ll get a bigger bed. and we might put the computer in there, or in my old room..the elliptical is probably going to stay in my old room too.

We’ll probably move before we have to do this.

its really big, and it now is full of new clothes, and i rearanged my room somewhat, and hung some posters… im getting there!

Putting the shelves in took only about fifteen minutes. Ah…Storage space!

With all the immediate concerns taken care of, this goal can drop to the bottom of the list.

I patched and painted the walls myself, even though painting is my least favorite home improvement activity. I’d like to replace the old, cheap baseboards and repaint the entire room, but that won’t happen any time soon.

We’re getting extra shelves put into the bookcase. We need to set a date when the workmen can come back.

Tim came by today and put in the bookcase/cabinets. It’s a huge piece of furniture. To put it in, they had to move an electrical outlet. Someone has to come back on Monday to patch and paint the wall.

My wife thinks I’m nuts for keeping old cans of paint in the closet, but this is why.

It only took me a month, but I think I finally finished remodeling my bedroom, till the next time.
