for almost 2 weeks i’ve been going to the trainer with the exception of last weekend-fri through sun. unfortunately i didn’t stick to my 30min on the off days.
now i’m planing on doing 2 workouts a day thanks to my new gym membership. after a month of exercising without skipping a day i can finally cross this off as accomplished.

i thought it felt good to be sore and sweat when i first started working out but for the past 2 days i realized soreness sucks. yesterday i could hardly walk, or bend my arms, i need help taking off my shirt. it’s been awful. its also very hard to get comfy enough to go to sleep. my friends say you have to workout through the soreness and it’ll only last for a few days. this morning, thankfully, my legs are starting to go back to normal. we worked the legs on monday so it took 4 days to get back to wear i can walk properly. the arms were on tue so i’m hoping on the 4th day-friday- they’ll be normal too.
i’ve been doing cardio and weights at the trainer for at least 40min a day for the past 2 days. i don’t feel i can mark this as a done goal until i do this for at least a month. i know it may sound funny but it feels good to be sore and sweat.
i’ve been trying really hard to get a hold of the healthy eating goals and have decided to put this one on the back burner until i can accomplish the others for at least 3 days, unless i’m feeling strong enough to go ahead and do it already. i’m afraid if i do too much at one time then i’ll panic and drop everything.

So, now, for the past three weeks. I’ve been walking 3-4 days a week for an hour at a time. Yeah, that averages out to 30 min a day!!! This is my first goal completed!!!

I got a new walking buddy. She’s great for two reasons: she lives next to an awesome park with lots of trails, and she’s almost exactly my height, so our pace is similar.
So far this week we’ve walked 2.5 hours and are planning 2 more hours before the week is done.
I feel so great about this & super motivated!!
Took the dogs to the park for about an hour, walking quite briskly…enjoyed it, must keep it up! :)
