write a travel narrative

My wife and I love to read Bill Bryson’s books, and his brilliantly funny travel narratives always make me want to be a travel writer. One of these days I’d like to actually write some sort of worthwhile travel memoir—not necessarily a book, and not necessarily to get it published anywhere. Just to do it.
