speak fluent french

Having reached a decent level at school, I’d like to expand my abilities to reach fluency.

I’m found this cd case called “instant french recall” and am listening to it right this second. I’m also taking French II in high school.

I met a boy from France on the subway in New York this week. He was living in the suburbs because he recently married an American girl he met in Paris. He does not have any friends in the US and doesn’t think he speaks English very well. The only reason we started talking is because he thought I was French (and I was dressed very well that day!).

So we exchanged numbers and I got a text from him, which I replied to all in French. He said my French was good! Haha.

Fairly self explanatory really.

i think it would be fun to learn.

i picked gcse french ! no turning back for me now … i’m quite good at reading , writing and listening but the speaking is kinda awkward..

and tried to speak some basic french with a few customers the other day. They must have assumed I’m fluent, despite my thick accent, and went so far beyond my comprehension that I was embarrassed. Ah well.

I really want to learn to speak French. It’s such a beautiful language and I hope to travel there someday.

We’re going to live in Gatineau!
