We’re hoping to shoehorn a three night trip to Valencia into our schedule in the latter half of June but looking back over these entries, our plans do seem to change somewhat!

Well it’s surprising how plans change!
We went to Bruges in Belgium for 3 nights on the Eurostar via Brussels, in the first week of October. I think we’ll probably fly to either Dublin or Poitiers (to visit Melody) in the Spring and then to Spain in September, to stay at his Dad’s villa for a week.
After doing the Eurostar, I think I can cope with a plane. I’ll definitely be nervous the first time, but I handled the check-in and the waiting to board the Eurostar OK. It’s not as if I’ll be taking a flight alone, after all.

Looks like my first flight will be to Spain next May :-D
Explanation. Jimmy rang me yesterday afternoon from his Dad’s villa on the Costa del Sol and the first thing he said to me was “I want to bring you here next year!” And I’m keen anyway, so it looks like we’ll go to Amsterdam by ferry in the Autumn first, then the Eurostar to Paris somewhere in between and THEN fly to Spain next May.
I’m really quite excited! Jimmy told me what to expect on a flight as he’s quite a seasoned traveller, and I think I should be able to cope if I try to stay calm and don’t overthink it too much. Well it works when I’m on the London Underground!

This one will probably happen after Amsterdam, and most likely after the Eurostar to Paris.
