Finish my patchwork quilt

I am now at about 80%! I think it’ll be about 2 or 3 more hours before it’s finished, but I am not going to bed until it is done!

As of this moment, I am about 60% done with the edging. I WANT to be done tonight, but probably tomorrow night is more realistic.

I am about 35% done with the edging, which happens to be the LAST step! Today I bought another package of binding, so that’s all I need to finish up! Won’t be much longer.

I FINISHED trimming the ties! Now to finish the binding… I can’t seem to make myself work on that part today for some odd reason. I WILL though. Probably a few more days and it will be all DONE!

23 more rows to tie, and about 75% of it left to bind.

I would estimate that if I put in some time on this each day, I could have it done before I go back to work on 4/28!

I just trimmed a couple rows of ties—25 more rows to trim. I may do a row between other tasks while the guys work on the living room fiasco- as I have come to call it in my head!

Now I’d say I am at about 25% of the binding. Hope to work on it more tonight. The good news is I have gotten to a point where I can watch episodes of 24 and work on it at the same time!! :)

I am about 22% done with the binding—pretty specific, eh? I only need to buy one more pack of binding, and if I work on it for a few hours a couple days this week… in theory, it could be DONE!!!! How exciting!

I have finished tying the quilt, and I ironed it (best as I could) and measured and trimmed the edges so everything lines up. I then started binding the edges and am about 15% done with that. I also started trimming the ties (when I get tired of doing the edges I switch to that). I need to buy one or two more packs of edging, but I have enough to keep me busy for a few days, anyway. I hope I get a Joann’s gift card for my birthday, and then I can get some plus whatever else I want! :)
