I live right near the beach and its such good exercise, all the swimming and walking, plus its good reading time. Usually I go after work most days around 4…I’d like to keep it up. It makes me feel more like me.

I have done a good job getting to the beach once a week… I should say AT LEAST because sometimes I go weeks going to the beach each day. I have not been for a couple weeks partly because of the cool weather and partly b/c I have been out of town. Technically I ate at the beach on Sunday but I don’t really count that. The week before we went to the pier and got drinks at the beach. It was wonderful to see all the people out blading and walking and just taking in the rays! This weekend is going to be nice so you know where I’ll be!
This entry is about done. I hit the beach at least 2 or 3 times a week. And now with volleyball season upon me, it will be even more. However, I am going to keep this on here for those months when the weather starts deteriorating a bit or where I somehow get out of the habit!
Sunday was the first free free day I’ve had since New Years. We had people over virtually every weekend and then moving stuff. My wife was studying so I hit the beach- what a PERFECT day. It was just warm enough to have a T-shirt on and I spent the afternoon taking in the rays talking to friends.
…and the girls all get so tanned. Does there have to be any other motivation to hit the beach??? Well, where I live, we go through periods of fog (marine layer) so it’s hard to get out to the beach because it is cool and not very nice. But living to close to it, I have no excuse not to go at least once a week. And if it’s too cold to lay out there is always volleyball and rollerblading!
