Taking lessons was the way to learn – I’ve completed two oil paintings and am very happy with them!
How to learn to paint with oils
It made me
Feel very humble.

How I did it: I took lessons for technique. Then I realized that in order to copy what our creator does that he has had an awful lot of practice. I will have to work very hard to imitate him.
Lessons & tips: Open your eyes, and get rid of your ego.

It’s fun, I only got a few different colors to start with so I’m a bit limited as far as what I can do, but I hope to get more soon. It seems like it’s going to be a really fun creative outlet, so yay for that!
