Buy a biodiesel car

I’ve decided keeping my existing car makes much more sense than buying a brand new car which is biodiesel. I drive about 3000 miles per year, so the petroleum savings are minimal compared to the energy it takes to build and make the market for the new car. Not only that, but I drank a pint of biodiesel and it gave me the shits.

We have decided to sell both our cars instead of getting a biodiesel. We will get around on public transport, bikes, and flexcar.

For awhile I have been considering buying either a hybrid car or finding a way to covert to biodiesel. Finally the market is making this more feasible! Check out these sites, its encouraging to know that alternative fuel sources are hear and beocming more and more widespread:

When I do need a car (my household is carless), it must be biodisel. I’d like to convert one.
