So, I’ve decided to do this in tandem with the “wake up when my alarm goes off” goal. 6 a.m. – nice to meet you (tomorrow of course!)

I put myself on a schedule and it worked out for a week, but then I was getting sleep deprived and I had auditions up ahead… so I let it slack. I really do want to give this a full go, though, so I may try again.
For now, I’m regulating my sleep a bit better, at least.
Starting in July was trying to get up at 6:45am and then work my way back 5 minutes a day until 6am or earlier.
Missed the first seven days due to lame excuses like injuries due to fireworks. Last three days 6:45, 6:55 and 6:40 at this rate I will hit 6am by Thanksgiving…wish me luck.

As a 30-day trial. Go to bed when I’m tired, wake up at the same time each day. Apparently it’s the healthiest way to go (and actually leads to needing less sleep, total over the course of the week).
Not exactly practical during the school year (Theatre parties ahoy), but I can do this, this summer.

to see if we can do 3 days at a time first :)

that this goal is the linchpin of all my attempts to have a routine. I mean, doing your morning routine at 6 am one day and 4 pm the next kind of defeats the purpose. And I’ve never had more than a few days’ luck with this either. I guess it’s time to enforce an early bedtime and bust out the dreaded alarm clock :(
I haven’t been updating these goals for months. In the intervening ones, I managed to do this goal, start a new job, went on holiday and now I’m back to not getting up when I should :)

I’ll start conservatively – say 10:00 or something – and work backwards until I’m happy.

this could be the start of something big.

That’s not really what I had in mind.
