I would like to combine Latin, English and French together to make a language called jibber. The problem is I only no English and some french this would be difficult!
I would love to create my own language, and share it only with my best friend. I am going to start now, in fact, in the middle of the Summer Holidays. I will call it Thaoyao.
And by that, I don’t just mean the script!!! What I mean is come up with pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. I started on called Athuriyn, but I haven’t worked on it in a long time and it is far from finished. I need to completly revamp it!
I created a language that Is based off Italian and Latin(grammar signs come from spanish). it looks like this:
“¿Quac e jatto cé anderloc?”(Qwaws eh zhatoh say Awdairlohs)
“E tavàlto e jatto sot cè.”(Eh tahVAHltoh eh zhatto soht say)
it translates as where is the cat? the cat is under the table.
So far My whole family speaks it and my wife. We always use it when in public so we know that no one knows what we are talking about.
i wrote my own language too
it draws influence from french, spanish, germanic and english languages.
The last letter in words is hardly pronounced unless it is accented or is a special exception.
For example:
Ceté bois est tret emocie par cejour.
this translates to ” That boy is very excited for today.”
it is pronounced ” suh-tay bwa ays tray (ee)moh-s(ee) par say-j(ur)”
you can notice that the consonants are almost never pronounced when they come at the end and only an accented vowel is pronounced at the end.

I have been working on my own language and culture for around 5 years. I became fascinated by Elvish and thought I’d give it a try(the creating of a language and people that is). I still have that first notebook that I wrote my first dictionary in. I look at it now and see just how much everything has changed. No one speaks my language besides me. My friends and mother understand a few phrases. My dream is to teach it to my children and have it be something passed throughout the family. I’m 15 so I have many years to further shape what I believe to be a great hobby that really exercises your brain. It’s like writing a never ending story for me. Like being the ruler of a world only you control. I think something like this appeals to those of us with the most creativity or just children reluctant to grow up and become like everyone else.
