That’s less than I earn in an average week, and some weeks are about twice that. What’s worse is that at no time in human history has there been more people working under brutality, violence and duress for nothing more than the means of basic survival.
After hearing Ben Skinner (http://acrimesomonstrous.com/information/author) on the radio this morning I’ve finally seen the shade of grey in George Bush’s Presidency, cos George W has done more than any other president since Lincon to end slavery across the planet.
I can forgo a few bucks a week to ensure another human being is freed from slavery for good. My life is worth as much their’s I just got lucky, we all did. Spread the luck around and donate to improving the life another human being.
