I have a 6 gallon right now, but want room for more fish! Someday I’ll raise guppies again. So fun, but so difficult to keep them alive without messing up the balance of the tank and without the adults eating the little guys!

They want at least one little shark in the tank. The younger one is keen for a sunken battleship theme.. so I think we’re all going to learn about fish together.
I pay and pick up the tank next Tuesday!
I’m going to start off with some goldfish and work my way up to the more complicated varieties.
Hooray for fish!
It’s a pretty big tank with a stand. Doesn’t come with a heater or filter but they are obtained easily enough! Hooray!
Go as big as your budget can afford. The bigger the tank, the less effort it’ll take to keep your water parameters stable. PLUS you’ll be able to get more fish! :)
Do your research before you start out. Not all fishies get along together. Don’t be in a rush to add too many fish at one time. And the most valuable advice I can offer is that you do your water changes religiously.
It’s a little hassle for (IMHO) a huge return. SO worth it!
I have done this and did this for my family and friends. The secret is all in the quality of your water!! If you are really into tropical fishes then go ahead and select the type of fishes you want to have. But if you just want to try it out then it is best for you to ask your local pet shop for the easiest fish to take care of. Feeder Goldfish or guppies is a good starting fishes but of course it is not that attractive. Once you got your stable water and you have the hang of it all then go ahead a choose the attractive fishes that you dream to have. Good Luck!
randysable is wondering when/where he's going to be able to cross things off
hella freakin’ worth it, but requires quite a bit of time and dedication each day to maintain it.
I can’t keep a plant alive nor a fish and for that matter a bird. They all seem to die on me. So why go through the trouble.
I was at a Japanese restaurant this weekend and was amazed at the fish tanks they had in the restaurant. As i was looking into the tanks i sware i found Nemo & Dory. After being a child for a minute, i have decided i want an aquarium and have Nemo & Dory in it.
I better read up on some books and start searching ebay for an aquarium. I am excited!
Well I actually have a fishtank, but just an itsy-bitsy one. I want a really massive big one… ;-)
