So I read Reviving Ophelia last week: I agree with just about everytrhing Pipher’s written, although very little of it was new information for me, I’m very familiar with the notion that young women struggle with self-esteem and finding their way during adolescence.

I found myself wishing, however, that I had had access to a book like this when I myself was a teenage girl, and so I passed my copy on to a 15 year old who I think might not have encountered some of these ideas before. Hopefully she’ll find it interesting.

I finished reading Cunt and loved it. It’s one of four books I never want to be without. Next is Anarchism and Other Essays by Emma Goldman. I’m not sure it’s truly feminist theory but it definitely looks to be worth reading.

I’m not sure what to read after Anarchism though.
