I went back to diet soda for a while but the only sweeteners I have now are in sugar-free gum and, once in a while, sugar-free candy. No more splenda, diet coke, sugar-free squash, etc. If I keep this up for the next 3 months with very rare slip-ups I’ll consider his done.

no more gum-diet sodas—-and I think thats all I eat that has artificial sweeteners…
I screwed up, inadvertently! Have cut waaaay back on gum again and am off sachets of seetener, squash etc but because I’m back on caffeine I bought some diet soda without thinking!! Once it’s gone I won’t buy any more
I’ve been buying gum sporadically but today I had a whole pack for the first time since adding this goal. I also take vitamin C tablets that have sweeteners (twice I had 2 in one day) but that is where my intake stops. I will have to ease off the gum again, especially as it’s given me a tummy-ache!!
Well, I had a piece of gum last night, but one only, whereas usually I’d be popping 2 pieces at a time until I ran out. I’m really pleased!!
How cool, I’m still free of the junk. I haven’t so much as had a piece of gum. But I will have some soon and try to limit my intake to a couple of pieces a day, as opposed to several packs. I also want to keep avoiding squash, powdered sweetener and diet drinks in general. I can’t say I miss any of it!
No more squash, no more diet drinks, no more sugar-free gum, etc! I thought grapefruit would be utterly disgusting without them but it tastes great!
