    I saw Bette Midler live at Madison Square Garden 2 years ago

    maybe seven or eight years ago now? A long time ago, anyway. I don’t remember the name of the tour she was doing at the time, but I remember a number in which she was dressed as a mermaid and rolling around the stage in a wheelchair. Sounds ridiculous, but it was amazing. Bette has such a big voice that I didn’t even care that I was up in the nosebleeds. I’m so glad I got to see her.
