cross the atlantic on a ship

We went from Hamburg, Germany to Montreal, Canada. Our trip was in November (winter storm season) so we were the only passengers and we got to go on the bridge whenever we wanted. We spent lots of time up there just watching the ocean and the sky. The night sky out on the ocean is truly magical, it was absolutely beautiful. Our captain told us the funniest and most amazing stories, the crew and our steward were very helpful and accomodating, and we had a very big cabin. It was a great experience and definitely worth doing. Just be prepared to get seasick!
