own a new car

one day, i would like to hve enough money that i could walk up to a dealer and say, i want that one. now!

i want to be able to actually do to a new car dealership, choose the car i want, and not have any trouble in buying it or owning it.

wouldnt it be nice?

Nothing too fancy but a cute first “real” car!

I also want 4 wheel drive. I am tired of not being able to get traction to get my car rolling up a hill when it is snowy/icy.

My current car has decent mileage but I have been driving it since 2002, it was my first car in high school. It’s been making a horrible coughing noise, starting it up in the morning. And it feels like it’s just breaking down slowly. I like it, and it’s in somewhat good condition, has some dings, and wear, but it’s still drivable. Well once I get a more secure job it’ll be straight to the lease dealership.

After driving junkers for many years, buying a slightly used 1997 Mazda 626 in 2001, I finally bought a brand new, next years model Ford Escape! My beloved Mazda has over 200,000 miles on it and with a new baby in the family, it was time to get a vehicle I wouldn’t have to worry about breaking down. My sister let me use her Jetta as a trade-in for $6000 and I was able to finance on my less than stellar credit. And then three days later, I received a check for $11,000 from the VA dept so I was able to break even with my sister. A good move, yeah!! Although, my new vehicle is now worth less than I still owe on it, I like my red ride.

All the cars I have owned in my life have always been at least 10 years old. I want built in cupholders. I want a decent music system. I want airbags.

I bought myself my first 2 cars, which were both used and pretty cheap. Now I think its time to get myself in a new one.. one without 80,000 miles on it already. I make about $400 or so a week, I just don’t know how to budget correctly. Any ideas?

I bought a 2006 Hyundai Getz in January… it’s beautiful shiny black and I love it. :)

After buying a 1983 Lincoln Continental Mark IV in September, I have found that it barely gets 15 miles per gallon, and I can’t afford a gas hog like that. Then again, my husband plunked down the cash for it, so it’s paid. Insurance is paid up for a year. I just hate to have to keep putting gas in it every 3rd day or so. IT really sucks. I’m not making enough money to keep my car filled up.
