Today I did a little web surfing and found out that you can rent a lovely home in Britain and it can be less than staying in a hotel. I even found a place with gardens and an indoor pool. I think this is the route I will take as I like being on my own in new places.

I finally graduated from college after many, many years (entered the work force and only took a couple of classes at a time for a while) and now I feel I have earned a good vacation. Only problem is, I currently lack the funds. There is something coming this year though that may allow this trip to happen. Keep your fingers crossed that this lifelong dream of mine can come true! Also, anyone out there that has been there, what would be a good length of visit? I am thinking at least two weeks, sound good?
Have you ever been to Britain? Lucky you!!!
I study in an English Language School and I LOVE everything connected to Britain-the language, the people, the legends, tha nature…
I find this country so cool!!!
I really want to go there one day,and maybe live and study there!!!

My mother gave me a trip to Great Britain as a graduation gift. I spent three weeks there, mostly in Scotland. It was incredible, and I loved traveling on my own. It really pushed me to meet new people, something I wasn’t very comfortable doing. Not only did I see some incredible sights, I grew as a person. It was a very important step for me.

I’ve been able to visit most of the world, but somehow England and Europe still elude me…
I’ve stopped in London on layovers going to and from Africa, but never had time to leave the airport…
So – here’s my goal… I want to take at least a two-week vacation and visit England in the next five years. That will give me time to visit and build a list of the places where I want to devote more time and attention…
I am an Anglophile from long ago…the history of it astounds me, from the Druids to Tudor England to Princess Diana.
I have relatives who live there and have seen London and thanks to friends, parts of southern England. Hope to one day explore the north and west of the country.
