I’ve been wanting to get my naval pierced since I was about 13. But my mom’s always been opposed to it. Well I am turning 18 in 3 days, so I can morally do whatever I want. As soon as I get my stomach flattened out a little more, I’m getting it pierced.
So can anyone tell me how bad it hurt. And is it true it stretches WAYYY out if you get pregnant with it in?

It’s ok for a while. Mine never got infected or anything, but if you lead an active life (I do), it’s easy to get it caught on things-which is painful. After a couple years, I took mine out.

I love my belly button ring! But it got so infected, I ended up just getting some iodine, and it got better real fast! and healed up nicely. What ever you do! DON’T take it out if its infected!

I did it about two months ago. Love it. Can’t explain why. I just really felt like I did something. I used the sea salt, and cleaned it with antibac. soap once a day. When it started to get infected, I used hotter water and more sea salt (1/4 teas.) to a coffee cup of water, when I did the soak. I also got some Studex cleaning solution from Sally’s Beauty Supply and used it several times a day. I also used alcohol at least once every other day and turned the jewelry when I douced it. My little infection went away. Most experts advice not using alcohol because it has a drying effect.I think if I had not used alcohol, I would have lost my piercing. It worked for me.
