How to dye my hair blonde

How I did it: I decided that I wanted to do it, and I have naturally dark, dark brown hair. I dyed it first at home, but it turned an orange color and wouldn't go lighter. From here I went to a salon I trusted to get it the rest of the way blonde about two days later, that way I not only saved money at the salon by doing the majority of the dying at home but I also saved time sitting in the salon chair. Lessons & tips: Do most of it at home, but not too much. This will make it so that you don't waste money in a salon, and by not leaving the dye on for WAYYY too long you won't fry your hair. I went to the salon two days after dying my hair from almost black to light orange, where my hairdresser balanced the color to an ash blonde. My hair was never fried, and was back to it's normal feel in a week. Resources: I tried many hair dyes, but with hair as dark as mine for the initial dying it didn't really matter, none would get it to the lightness I wanted without professional help. At least, not without the risk of my hair falling out. My hairdresser is a friend of mine, and she said this is the smartest way to do it.

How I did it: i new this wasn't going to be easy considering my hair was dyed black to begin with, it actually took 3 rounds of blonde to get ti the way it is now, i think i'm still going to do it once more so it really gets blonde. I my natural hair color is light golden brown but I have been dying it black for years. Also my eyebrows are naturally dark brown so idk how I’m look with blonde hair. I wanna get to at lest highlighted blonde or maybe kinda like Holly Madisons. I was thinking platnum but it might look kinda highschool on me. Not sure. I was thinking of trying to highlight it with lemon juice/sun once I get it a medium blonde. Right now it’s like 3 different colors, I need to dye it a gloden brown next to get closer to my natural hair color. Anyways I’ll see how it goes. I think its about time for a change.

Okay, so I didn’t get it dyed totally blonde. Whatevs, I learned to live with what I got. But now I need to get my hair cut like, pronto. So I’m going to get it dyed COMPLETELY blonde. I’m getting excited! Hopefully my complexion matches the blonde that I want!

Okay, I totally got my hair cut and dyed today. And my dumb bitch hairdresser didn’t listen to me and dyed my hair a light brown with blonde streaks. It is the exact opposite of what I wanted. I wanted blonde. A nice blonde with a few different shades. I don’t think that this is too too hard to understand. Whatever though, I’ve booked another appointment for the 29th, so I’ll deal untill then.
