I was vegetarian for over 12 years. I was vegan for four of those years. But the wheat allergy in addition to that began to drive me crazy. I knew I had to add more food to my diet when I went to the grocery store, walked around and found I couldn’t eat 98% of the food and started to cry. I’m not a crying person so it freaked me out. I added fish and then chicken to my diet. Now just one time I’d like to have a New York Strip again… Dad and I plan to have one at Outback (gluten free restaurant!) soon. But I feel really guilty. If I grow out of my allergy I’m heading back to veggie land so fast!!!
