I lapsed slightly back into my Chick litish ways for a while. Became highly addicted to Twilight series, and re read some old faves (Marian Keyes and Cathy Kelly). Just recently been trying some new stuff though. Read Chart Throb by Ben Elton a couple of weeks ago which was awesome, read “Just another Kid” by Tory Hayden. A friend has lent me a number of her books but they are true stories and can be a bit hard reading so I’ve broken them up with the Billy Connelly bio. Quite enjoying the bio theme so want to read Dawn French’s next I think.

I admit it – I’m a chick lit girl. Will consume about a book a week, and often read the same books over and over. So I’ve been looking for different stuff to read. Recently I’ve tried:
Harry Potters which I’m addicted to (STILL waiting to read the last one though!!),
Pride & Prejuduce (just an original chick lit so great)
The Bride Stripped Bare – very odd.
The Switch by Sandra Brown (Murder Mystery) which was OK but not really a page turner
Just recently discovered Jodi Pocault (think thats how you spell it!). Loving these books. Just finished The 10th Circle, and a friend has lent my My Sisters Keeper which I think I’ll keep for Bali holiday.

I’ve also started the Angus & Robertson top 100 book list (which actually has 109 books on it?). I’ve completed 17% so far – and thankfully My Sisters Keeper is on there so I’m on track.
