get an alkaline trio tattoo

well, ive wanted to get an alkaline trio tattoo since i was a freashman in high school. recently my ex finace got the same tattoo ive wanted forever. i really wanted that exact tattoo (its the red heart and skull tat that seems to be the most popular) but i don’t want to feel like i am copying him. any alk3 tattoo ideas?

This band has been my favorite since i was in high school.

No one understands why I WANT this tattoo, but no other band writes lyrics that sound like they are coming from my head.

I went in yesterday and got my first tattoo, the Alalkine Trio symbol on the top of my right. I had to get it a little smaller than I wanted, because otherwise it wouldn’t fit where I wanted it, but other than that it looks amazing! Everyone told me that i was going to hur so bad and that I should NEVER get a tattoo on my foot, let alone my first one. But it wasn’t that bad at all. Almost annoying, for lack of a better word. My artist was awesome, he is a great artist and a really nice guy… he’s my official tattooist! I am SOOO happy with the way it turned out. Except right now it’s swollen and it hurts really bad. Man, I never would have thought that the “after” part of the tattoo would be worse than the during! Totally worth doing!

and I couldnt be happier. If anyone is in the Chicago land area I can recommend an amazing artist for you. I told him what I wanted and he followed it to the mark. Since it was my first tattoo and one that I’ve wanted since the dawn of time it was very important that he got it exactly the way I wanted it. I couldnt be happier with the tattoo. My mom was a little hurt that I didnt include herself in the whole thing. But after some explaining she understood. :] I love this band. They’ve been there with me during the best times in my life and helped me out of some of the deepest lows I’ve been in. And I feel even more connected with them now. Totally worth doing. Dont even second guess it!

I am going tomorrow to get my ink done, and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s on my foot, and it’s my first tattoo, so I am way nervous right now, and it’s not gonna go away until I’m sitting there getting it done.

I am getting the exact one from the “Goddamnit” album sleeve on the top of my right foot. Same size, same colors, same everything. And after that is healed I want start work on a sleeve. Wish me luck… I hope to Christ I don’t pass out!!

I wish to honor this band the best way know how. They’ve done so much for me, I feel its the least I can do.
