go to alaska for my birthday

my birthday is january 24th… it’s the first day alaska sees the sun after months of darkness. i always thought that it was awesome that the first day of light was the day of my birthday and i would love to experience it for myself. i would like to experience a few days of darkness though, so that when there is finally sun, i too will be pretty darn greatful! and i’ve always had an affinity for the number 24. i think it is my lucky number. good things have always been particularly associated with the number 24 for me. i feel like it’s special. it doesn’t have to be, but it makes me happy. so yeah… it’s my own nikki celebration.
