Be the best Aunt Ela ever

Talked to K yesterday. He just chattered away then said “bye” suddenly and gave the phone to his mom. We laughed. Guess he was done.

Had an wonderful visit with my family and a great time with my nephews!!!!!!!! They are so adorable and growing up sooo fast!!! It is so cool that K is finally old enough at almost 4 to remember me and so warmed up VERY fast to me in person again. I just adore those munchkins!!!

I’ll see the nephews!!!!!!!!!! woohooo!!!!!

Need to get back on this one. Those boys are growing up too fast!!! LOL!

today is E’s first bday!!! woohooo!!!

bought the boys a couple of books today. the three pigs and tuesday by david wiesner. both are caldecott winners and are just fun gorgeous picture books with really rich stories. they can just look at the pictures or they can get the basic story or they can make up their own story or they can really look into all the incredible detail that is there.

I sent the boys each their own christmas cards. I hear they want to know why everyone didn’t send them one. heh.

K sent me my first christmas card of the season. My sister told me today that he declared he needed to send out some cards while she was working on addressing envelopes a few weeks ago. She got out some remnants from years past and he colored in them, then proceeded to tell her which ones went to whom. :) heh. Cute!!

Even though I had called them and talked to them and he was too busy playing to talk to me (his words, heh), in the afternoon, K threw a fit because he had not called me for Thanksgiving. He said “Happy Tanksgivin Ela” and that was it and gave the phone back to his mom. But it was priceless and so heartwarming. What a sweetie!

Talked to the boys on the phone tonight. It is really fun that K is getting more conversational. He is so cute! E was reaching for the phone when I was talking to him, I was told. :)
