How to learn herbal medicine by leeess

"After studying herbal medicine, you really start to think about everything you put into your body (although, I'm still partial to a good wine, chocolate and coffee - they're for the soul, and less for the body!)"

How I did it: I studied in a formal class. Herbal medicine was only one of our subjects, but it was the one that captured my imagination the most.

Formal study was important for me, otherwise I tend to drift onto tangents.

Lessons & tips: Be systematic, and thorough. And, try to slip that knowledge into your everyday world.

    It’s not just about the ‘erbs. You need simple practical knowledge to go with it. I started reading the massive Back to Eden tome by Jethro Kloss — and would suggest it as a good place to start, although I’ve yet to finish it myself… there’s a lot to know.
