Dave is back to business
I’ve been consistently putting out 16 pages of journaling and 1-3 pages of creative work a week. Time to move on.
Next up; write every day.

journaling- 15 pages,
creative – 1 page.
Not great, but it meets the objective of a page a week and two pages a day of journaling.
just keep writing, just keep writing
Dave is back to business
This is a pretty thin writing week
7.5 pages of journal, 1 page creative.
I like the page of creative work, but the journal is disappointing.
It was a busy week, though, with the kids off school and camp not started and big projects at work and… and… well, you get the idea.

I managed 1245 words last week, or nearly 5 pages. That’s been unheard of recently. :D
Now, let’s see if I can keep it up this week….
Dave is back to business
Not a strong week. 13 pages of journaling and no creative work.
This week has been better, and I think I’ll have two new pieces ready to start pushing into contests soon. One poem and one flash piece.
I like this goal. :)

Since i run on 1 week centers starting on thursday, here’s the latest:
Journal: 19 pages. Not damn bad.
Creative: 1 page. Good stuff, too.
I’ve now finished a poem, and need to clean up another piece for submittal to a magazine.
: )

ok, so this week I did 14 pages in the journal, and two pages of creative writing.
Not bad, given my travel schedule.

I actually managed to do something in terms of this goal this week!
While I was waiting for a fried to return my call (whom I called as previously arranged only to find she was out for the evening), I decided to give reading The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail another try. I only made it through the second paragraph of the first, shorter, introduction before I was distracted by something shiny. I was struck by Lincoln’s tale of how he became interested in the Rennes-le-Château. And now I have a Barthesian essay bubbling in my brain. I wonder if there is an English translation of Le Trésor Maudit….
And then I pulled my journal out of my bag tonight.
So, the totals: 1 page of jot notes and 4 pages in my journal.

I know I’ve been absent the last week; sorry about that. For some reason I’m just not motivated to write postings like I used to be. Perhaps there’s just too much going on in my life.
Anyway, here’s my update for the week:
Journal: 14 pages
Creative: 2 pages
I have a great start on two new poems, one of which is almost finished.
