a month in antibes, with lodging, food, and classes (and my hubby there part of the time) will cost me about $9,000. is it worth it?
not that i don’t want to be fluent. but i can only do one thing next summer. and instead of studying french, i’m thinking… about… a nice month long trip to southern africa. ahh, the painful luxury of having choices!! ;)
i’m a sucker for magnets, so i bought the french version this weekend.
le souffle simple est le jardin de ton coeur!
for some reason, i really liked that one :)
a french speaking person is like, say something in french! what the heck does one say? i mumbled out some pathetic sentences (who really uses j’habite en brooklyn in real life??) and then of course, couldn’t understand the questions that were posed back to me. my french sucks. when i graduate in two years it MUST BE BETTER.
in geneva didn’t work! i’m sure i improved a little, but i’m planning for hard core intensive studies for next summer. i am not particularly fond of the french language (german is always first in my heart) but i want to work for the UN someday.
