Go to a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Convention

Does anyone know of a convention in the Eastern United States in the near future?

There is a new collectors magazine that has not long come out and in the first issue was an interview with Sarah Michelle Gellar said that she would consider coming back to do the show again. The magazines due to finish in 2010 and we’re hoping that buffy will come back to the tele so if that happens the conventions should also start!

I was hoping this was site to find our where all the conventions are. Does anyone know of a site like that? I would like to experience a Buffy or Angel convention.

I was a late fan. I actually didn’t have any idea the show existed until it’s seventh season. So my best friend caught me up and I fell in love. The dialogue, the wit, the amazing messages…it’s a great show. And it would be nice to know that I’m on the only ulti geek who uses the phrase “Keen observiness, Jessica Fletcher” and can sing every single song from the musical (including the extra one added in during “Hells Bells”)

Went to an Angel convention in august ‘04 with my sister and two cousins in Brighton, England. It was very expensive and not run very well, but it was the first convention the organisers had ever done – and since then they have gone bust… but my experience wasnt tainted! it was excellent and well worth the money if even just to say hi to the stars! It was more a buffy convention than an angel one. though david boreanaz (angel) was there as well as Mark Lux (groosalug) there was Kristine Sutherland (Joyce Summers, buffys mom) and nick brendon (xander) and nicks twin kelly donovan (he was in “The Replacement”, the buffy episode, where there were two xanders!) and his girlfriend was there too, who has also been in the series. But yeah well worth going to!

I recommend Booster Entertainment conventions! The Anel Booster Bash had 22 guests ( many from Buffy,too.)! The Flanvention had the entire cast of Serenity except Gina Torres. No body does Whedonvers cons better.

Actually I really wanted to go on the Slayer Cruise, the epitome of Buffy geekdom, but I don’t have several thousand dollars to blow. So i’ll just have to settle for moderate Buffy geekdom.
