At one point in life, I tend to pause for a moment to reflect on my life. Sometimes, I feel that we spend most part of our working time to slog away doing monotonous drudgery that sucks life out of us to create huge “blackhole” which no light of life could ever escape. I am not making a general assumption for all of us who have no passion for jobs. Neither I am not one of those people who can easily get contented for what he or she has. I am rather a critic of myself to the point to ask myself what should I do with my life.

Many a time, we often come to a cross-road junction with so many road signs pointing to many directions. We may be tempted to take this one or that one. Until you may find yourself turning around at this spot. Hey, I want to go there ….no no…i prefer that way…You may be mumbing to yourself..hey, it seems that i cannot be broken into 4 or 5 pieces so that each piece of me can go in that direction. Though it may seem ridiculous, it certainly reflects the human nature that we tend to have everything or try to have so many things as possible. So in the end, we may find ourselves stuck in the rut of making choices over where we should head in our life.

It certainly mirrors my thinking over time and yet I could not find my actual direction to which I should head in life. Sometimes, I think I found one but in the end, it leads to the cul de sac. Again, I have to restart all over again to make another hard decisions about right careers. Even in the present job, it is so hard to find passion in my job as I never really like this job.

Knows where the Road Leads 4 years ago

To find Passion, you must first know what you want.

Understand the criterias that will work a passion. From there, work towards it, create it, find it… do whatever necessary. And just stay on course.

There will be time when things are off course. But, no journey is straight.

work is something you do 4 years ago

work is something you do NOT somewhere you go.

With this statement, we shall see the contiuous growth of mobile workers.

Goal vs Passion 4 years ago

To have the same ultimate goal & working towards it ,

Signs that you really have passion in your work 4 years ago

Time passes by very fast at work. You don’t feel it.

Your working life is as meaningfull/or more than your real life.

You still cannot believe that you are being paid for this job!

There is no such thing as Monday blues and you rush to work like a kid going to an arcade.

If the above describes you, and you are a sane person, congratulations and please tell me what you do for a living!

Now I wish there's more than 24 hours in a day! 4 years ago

My philosophy is that there are 2 ways to have passion for our work. One is to do what we love, and the other is to come to love what we do. Our work takes the largest portion of our time each day, and to be unhappy during this time, lowers the quality of our lives to such a degree that no matter how much fun we try to squeeze in during our time off, it can never compensate.

When you think positive and have the light of passion in you, you can brighten any work that you do. And without being positive and having passion, no work can provide you with more than a pay check.

Work is not a chore 4 years ago

People will probably have different definition for passion.

We grow up in a society where we work to support ourselves, to support the family, to get rich, etc.

How many of us work because we love the job? How many of us do not find work a chore?

I think finding passion at work is the key to motivate people to move on and be successful…
