Live with pain

There I said it. People do not want to be around you if they think you are in pain. I have been in pain for 13 years, a back surgery doesn’t change the fact that I had pain before and I still have pain now. The pain is lessened & I am so grateful for the surgery going correctly and all. I feel like people think they can catch FMS or CFS? They call me lucky??? Because I can’t work. I know they don’t understand. I don’t understand! Next time I meet someone new, I fell great & I don’t work because I don’t want to! Everything is great. If I hear again “Wow I sure wish I could take a nap” I am going to scream.

Just got to the end of the line a couple of months ago. Nothing more the doctors can do. They think it must be a combination of old injuries that will not heal; hip, shoulder, neck and lower back. In addition, the scar tissue under my shoulder blade rubbing against my spine (so they think) causes the nerve pain.

No more tests they say. I stopped taking the painkillers ages ago. But I was ready to stop anyway because I have just accepted that I am in pain everyday…Yippee seriously it’s just not that bad mind over matter. I really feel like I cracked it just by focussing on other things and trying to forget about it.
