How to get a tattoo behind my ear

How I did it: I got a treble clef behind my ear, as I have been wanting to do for a while now. It was almost painless and hardly bled at all. It just made my ear feel like it was vibrating. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I really enjoy having it behind my ear because it is a place where I can show it off when I want to and hide it when I don't.

So I know I want to get something behind me ear because I wanted something that I could show if I felt like it, but would not be easily visible, since I wear my hair down mostly. I have been torn between a pisces symbol, or a music note maybe a treble clef or something, or possible the Chili Peppers asterisk. I have yet to find something that will be something I will love forever and will work with my skin tone.

To mark turning 30!!! I am getting my frist tattoo today so wish me luck… I am a little nervous but I ready!!! I am getting the astrological symbol for leo and the number 9 (my lucky number and the day I was born) with 2 stars, one on each end of the curve around my ear…. it will be little because I will need to be able to cover it once I start my career (I will teach elementary school or middle school) but I am excited!!!!!!
