3.8 again, but at least I’m being consistent. I would also like to believe that spring semester was way more difficult than last semester as I was pulling 18 units instead of 15. So…next semester here I come.

How I did it: After every class, I went to the library and rewrote my notes. I cannot emphasize how much this helped. I've never gotten a 4.0 before, but I've come close. This technique really put me over the edge :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: Hard work, but not too hard. I was involved in many other activities. This taught me time management, which has come in handy in college. And of course, some natural intelligence helped :) No one is going to get a 4.0 without a little bit of God-given talent. Mainly, determination and a competitive drive brought me to the top. How I did it: i was so focused on getting perfect marks that i neglected friends, family, a relationship, my job, the company i'm trying to start, and even my home. it took me a while and a failure to realize that i'm happier to know that i did the absolute best that i could than to know that i have a perfect grade. but I am pretty sure that I have found a dream grad school to work towards. :D
So far, so good. This will be the first semester of my life that I have a 4.0, and all it took was the awesomely successful tactic of rewriting my notes after class. Trust me, this makes everything much easier down the road. However, the semester s not yet done…
Finals are nearing. While 2 of my classes- Topics and my Thesis class have already told me I have an A, I have an A in neuropharmacology right now, but I just handed in an essay that I didn’t do an amazing job on. Also, in clinical neurology I’m boarderline… around a 93.5. :X. Unfortunately, this wont be an excellent studying week because I have to run experimental trials (only at night, bc they are nocturnal) on my rats, which will take a good 120 hours.

Finally.
I got an A on my Cuba studies midterm. Which is quite helpful considering I’m about to do about 100 pages of reading for that very class.
Life circumstances have gotten the best of me and I won’t be able to get a 4.0 this semester. But that’s ok.
Last quarter, I completely failed. I need motivation for this next quarter. Maybe putting it in writing will help me become more motivated to get a 4.0 this quarter in college.
spending too little time with friends-check
sleeping too little-check
I had this plan to hang out with friends during the day, then work until the wee hours, but this is obviously flawed as I now sleep during the day, and am slowly becoming nocturnal. My friends are not nocturnal. See the flaws? Oh well. I’m balancing friends and school better than I did last semester with a 3.8. This will probably fail the second midterms/projects/essays come about. Bring on the system failure.
Just got my appendix out and am missing four days of class, this should be fun (but at least I’m not in high school).
