Meet my ancestors

I’ve long daydreamed about meeting my ancestors. Since I was a young girl, I imagined that somewhere in Europe, in a castle, a portrait has been hanging, bearing an image of an ancestor I favor.

How very Poe-ish. :)

A few years ago, I found out that I have a Choctaw, Native American heritage as well as a European one. Who knows who else’s blood flows in these veins!!

I’ve heard of genetic testing to determine our farthest bloodlines… I would love to have this done.

I’m in no hurry to leave this world, but I would love to meet my father’s father’s father’s…
