Go on a road trip with no destination in mind

In November, I drove down Route 85 and decided then to go to Asheville. It was a fun mystery road trip done in a day.

I’ve been going on mystery road trips by myself for years!

i have been plannin to leave for past one year…i just hope i can just pack my bags and leave in 2007.

i practice this, when i am frustrated or upset and need some quiet time and i cannot get it elsewhere

i drive

while i do not go far, far from home i do take back roads and just enjoy the scenery and lack of traffic and lack of people talking to me/wanting things from me

I’m thinking maybe of doing one on a weekend some time. Just get in the car and go. Wherever the wind may take me or the breeze may blow.

with my niece. A few will be with a destination in mind but maybe one of em won’t be with a certain place in mind.

just make sure I don’t have to work at other job and just have a full tank of gas. Head where my head takes me with no set point in mind. That or take a long weekend sometime and do it. As to a set destination, still want to go see the Bok Tower in northern Florida… Another thing to do…

I’ve talked about doing this many times with different people in my family or with friends. My best friend we were going to just head north and wander. He graduated and moved away…So then I talked about doing this with my niece the past summer, doing like a couple short trips. Money was tight. Bah! I will do this…hopefully soon and in the near future.

In high school, my friends and I always talked about going on a road trip, and of course since college the talk has continued. However, I’ve still never gone on a road trip…haven’t got the nerve yet I guess….or just missing the right person to take a road trip with, although there are one or two hopeless romantics I know that would make the trip beyond belief….
