legalize marijuana

I don’t agree with one of the people who say everyone should smoke in public till the police get there to forcefully remove us because i believe that doing so would just cause us to have a criminal record and put us on probation there for causing us to have urine testing which would mean the people having to stop smoking Marijuana. Personally i think some how all firm believers of legalizing marijuana should come up with a waver that everyone that thinks it’s okay to smoke should sign.. and also write a detailed report on why it should be legalized including the pros and the cons of it… trying to convince the U.S.A not to criminalize the usage of marijuana. Now i don’t believe they should make them like cigarettes when selling it because i think there should be laws inforced when under the influence such as it’s only allowed to be used in coffee shops meant for only marijuana and in homes not to be used when driving or operating heavy machinery. Also yes it does get to be a habit but if you limit yourself it shouldn’t be a problem. Also they’re starting to talk about marijuana increasing depression which in some cases can be true i believe it all depends on the user. It’s a very touchy subject that’s why it’s taking so long to legalize there are some good facts and some bad.. just like alcohol which can be very dangerous if too much is consumed…
I really do hope someday soon they do legalize it!

As a cancer survivor, I found that it helps with the nausea and lack of appetite and the pain, and I’m sure I’m not the only person it has benefited.

Also, many other forward-thinking countries have decriminalized the possession of marijuana, while in Nevada a single fleck can get you imprisoned for quite a stretch. Perhaps our jails (and our hard-earned tax dollars!) would be better used housing violent offenders and sexual predators.

Our government thinks there’s no way to tax it. However, if they were to harvest some of the marijuana they grow in the “poison fields”, rolled it into cigarettes and sold them in packs, they’d make a fortune.

I just think that the fact that marijuana is illegal is ridiculous.

its ok for me to anyone to smoke if its not preventing you any of ur responsibilites. some may argue that it quickly becomes an habit that u cant do ur responsibilities. on the other hand alchol also may become an habit. if u know what to do, how to drink or smoke, u can keep ur social and mental life unaffected. even ur mental life may get more and more mature :))

Some people go home at night, sit back and have a nice cold drink. I hate drinking it makes me sick. I’d much rather kick back, hit the bong and chill out. Whats so wrong with that?

Americans believe that “we are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights”; one of which is the right to access of all herbs, plants, and seeds that our God gave to us. It is our constitutional right to smoke marijuana for recreational, medical or spiritual reasons. It is time that this government stop catering to the rich despots who maintain the illegality of cannabis for private, profitalbe concerns.

i want to legalize weed as much as any stoner but i dnt think the government officials are going to do it themselves so i say that if the stoners of the U.S. want it legalized we’re gonna have to do it our way. i have an idea to do it and i’m going to post the written form of it right after this.

All right first off everyone is familiar with the African Americans fight for civil rights. right? Well, if Martin Luther king Jr. came up with the idea that if they used publicity to there advantage it would show the world they were doing nothing wrong.

Well if us smokers of the green goodness were to all ban together and start smoking weed in public and not doing anything wrong then when the cops came to do something about it all we did was just stand there. We didnt say anything we didnt do anything we just kept smoking. That would force to cops to stop us with force whether its just taking the joint or whatever away from us then handcuffing us and forcibly moving us cuz we dont help them at all when they go to put us in there vehicle they’d have to carry us. We should show them we dont have to cater to them just because we want to smoke something that dont hurt or kill anyone or ANYTHING! This would turn into a big show because we’d be doing it in broad daylight. this would then of course attract attention. The media needs to get involved to shed light on our cause! If it was in the right city or area we would be on the news and it would show the cops doing what ever. The nation would see that the cops are hauling people away like this and for what smoking a joint. They treat us like we are the murders and rapist, the darkside of humanity.

Just like the great cival leaders before us we would show them that power is in the people and we only lend power to people who put on a badge. Not all rules are neccesary for our society. This is the same society and rule makers that said Women and Blacks cant vote, go to college, or even get a driver’s license.

Why would we keep following a system that was put in place by that kind of decision making?

its worth it deffinitly, so many uses for it other than the high, and the high itself.. too many innocent people with family and kids to raise are in JAIL for no reason.. dont ban pot, ban the government!
