legalize marijuana

The war against marijuana is a contemptuous process that puts harmless people in jail where they do not belong for something that should be legal. How does marijuana endanger or harm anyone’s life, any more than alcohol, tobacco or toxins from vehicles and factories? Make sure to do research into why it was made illegal in the first place… it certainly was not for health. What must the citizens of the world do, who want the laws changed around this product? What is needed… letters, petitions, phone calls, court cases?

I hate to think our politicians are afraid of organized crime that wants our marijuana which is being exchanged for dangerous drugs. If this product is legalized, it takes it away from organized crime! If that is an erroneous thought, let me know why.

Do law-makers have any idea how beneficial these plants are to us, or are opinions based solely on the fact that “the law says it is illegal”? It used to be illegal for women to vote, and those laws got changed, but I hope I don’t have to go through what the suffragettes did to accomplish it. It is education, not prohibition, that will create the sensible use of this product.

how cigarettes can be legal but weed isnt… completely stupid! so yeah, i think it should be legal cos there arent really any reasons for it not to be!

i have yet to hear a coherant arguement against the legalisation of marijuana,i know the retarded emotional arguements but they are simply wrong,legalisation has no downside and myriad benefits.opposition is simply an ill informed knee jerk reaction that is more to be pitied than scorned,i just hope rthat none of these people have responsibility for bringing up children,who knows what they will turn out like,there are enough ignorant bigots in the world to be going on with!i am an adult leave me alone!!!`

Its getting Closer and Closer here in the USA… hopefully the damned alcohol Rx and other industries will be hurt enough by the recession not to be able to pour money into expensive disinformation campaigns… or maybe the people will finally see the truth.

I am so mad because marijuana isn’t legal. It the drug dealers that don’t want it legal.

Hey Netherlands is doing just fine, i’m sure we’ll be fine too…. not to mention if the US taxed marijuana, we’d probably get out of this horrible economic situation in no time flat. More jobs! Less drug trafficking! Happier people/patients! No more going to jail for smoking an herb! Cheers to THAT!!

It’s only illegal to persuade us with fear…

Government would rather have us be little busy worker bees asking no questions, and paying our taxes.

It could be…

The government probably thinks that the effect of euphoria will make too many people have an epiphany, coming to the harsh realization that the matrix we live in sucks!
Then the plans of world domination would all be over!

Or…

Our laws aren’t evolving as fast as the people. Our leaders are too old!
