even though I was not a full participant. But it sounded fun!

We got back too late from our trip for me to indulge in wine! I was fast asleep :(

9:00 AM on a Sunday is just too early to be drinking -if it is any consolation I was still drunk from the night before however.

I went to sleep with the kids with the intention of sneaking down stairs for a sip later. The grasp of the bed was just too much and I didn’t wake up until morning.

The party looked fun though! I’ll have to participate in another on a weekend I’m off kidpatrol.

I could only have one glass (it was Marathon Eve), our bottle of cab/shiraz blend was inexpensive, and I couldn’t get a data connection in our hotel room, I did enjoy the wine and reading everyone’s entries. I’ll post the photo when I get home.

I slept through the whole shindig. I am so not a morning person.

Sigh.

There’s always next time…

So I really didn’t do this, I’m doing a quick detox to rid the body of those nasty toxins before the warmer weather arrives!

of being ostracized and eventually flogged for my beverage betrayal—I let you all down. Instead of enjoying this fine wine, I relented to my cravings for a good brew and supplimented a glass of Arrogant Bastard Ale in place of a glass of Barossa Valley Red. Please forgive me, but the body was weak…

maybe I had a few more than just one glass but yeah it was okay ;-)
