"Wine tasting was fun."

How I did it: We tasted wine at the Oktoberfest in Hermann, MO and I had an awesome time.  Sitting outside on a sunny October day with new people while I tried wine and overlooked the vinyard was awesome.  It really made me want to go to Napa.

How I did it: I paid attention to events that my local library are having and I signed up for Wine Tasting 101 as soon as it came available.  It was a free class so it filled up quickly.  I attended the class with my boyfriend and we learned a lot about how to appreciate the art of drinking wine.     Normally I’m a beer girl or rum and coke but wine isnt that bad. My friend Tatiana back home and I had that Franzia box-o-wine for New Years and it wasnt that bad. I bet if I got a real bottle that costs more then 12 bucks it would be even better.

    I was in Bourgogne this weekend, and we had a little dégustation de vin. Though I still would never be able to tell the difference between a grand cru and and an appellation régionale (the best I could do is tell if a wine is red or white) – at least now I can say that I’ve done this.

    I´m also working in a bar, so once or twice a year we try wine at the bar..

    I haven’t not seen Sideways, but I just enjoy trying wines and learning about it. I have lived near plenty of wineries, and I have talked about this many times, so I don’t know why I haven’t done it yet! This will probably be the first thing I accomplish!
