Well I’ve been on the diet for nearly 6 weeks. I’ve lost 6 kilos. But I’m starting to get bored. I think its time to do some more research and start cooking again. I’m so over meat and 3 veg for dinner and then fish and salad for lunch. I think I started with more creativity but then the tedium of everyday life set in and its the same ole same ole…and corn cakes and nuts – boring! Okay, that’s the challenge from here. I’ve got a good vego cooking book with yummy dhals and such like… time for the dhal… 5 years ago

6 days into the anti-candida, gluten free diet and all’s going well. Stress a million times better. Headaches mostly gone. Heaps more stamina. And I tell you what, it reinforces for me that you don’t have to have exactly the powder/ pill/ drink that all these people on the web are pronouncing that you have to buy from them if you want to be free of your symptoms. Sure I’ve got some herbal rememdies and I’m taking a few supplements but its not coconut oil, or uva ursi or whatever the latest thing is. 5 years ago

Have just found out I’ve got a gluten intolerance as well as candida. Have taken a bit of a ‘soft entry’ to the candida diet which is pretty extreme. And will probably be a bit lax with the Gluten free as well. Cutting out all the simple carbs and such like should make a big difference hopefully. Although most of the time I’ll probably be strict, I can’t imagine how people give up things like Soy Sauce (how do you go out at all?) 5 years ago
