hello, i really wanna just take off, a few months or a few years!
thing is, i have no money.
does anyone know how to get out of the uk? i’d work anywhere – doing anything.
I’m going travelling next november to:-
Canada – banff
America- new york, san fransisco
South America- quito in Ecuador Rio in Brazil, and Cuscos in Peru for the maccu picchu trail
Europe- Iceland(rekjavik), Russia(Moscow),Germany(Berlin) and Italy (venice)
were only going for 6 months but this is going to cost a fortune, does anyone have any ideas of how to reduce costs as it’s clear most of u guys have done a fair bit of travelling, the only costcutter i’ve considered so far is hostels, any more ideas??? xxxx
I am kinda torn on this one at the moment. On the one hand I know that the time is now in terms of not having too many commitments. But on the other hand I have only been working in my current proffession for a year so I don’t feel taking time off will do me any favours. Secondly it’s getting expensive now and I want to save for a flat so the two goals conflict.
I did it! India for 1 month and now I’m in Chiang Mai looking for a TEFL job, scarey at times but a great adventure!
went backpacking in mexico for 9 months
it was interesting, backpack was stolen and all id, money, etc.
fun times.
What more can I say…there is so much to see! I went to India this year for a couple of weeks, and I havn’t been the same since.
