Feeling Hopeful is a *Self-Knowing Self-Improving Believer* (43T Personality Test)
I read as much as I have time for. I am reading “Crime and Punishment” right now as one of my other goals. I realized that I have overlapping goals. I like classics and so I plan to intersperse them with my other reading.
I would definately like to be able to check off all the books on one of those lists of must-read classics.
Done. I just finished Little Women last night. It was an awesome book I loved it! :D Will def read it again. :)
I’m reading Little Women at the moment. I have a terrible habit of starting a book and never finishing it but I really want to finish this one! :)

P&P was delightful. I’m tempted to read some more Austen books while I’m at it (namely, Sense & Sensibility and Emma… I’m a sucker for movie adaptations), but I don’t think I’ll have the time since I have to start reading for grad school next week, sad!
One day I will be done with academic reading and can devour classic literature at my leisure!!

I’m about 75 pages into Pride and Prejudice, and so far I like it. It took me about 10 pages to adjust to the language, but after that I started going much faster.
Goal: Finish by Friday!

So, I looked up the BBC’s list of 100 top books. I sort of disagree with it (ALL Harry Potter books, but no Dante?!), I picked one off of it and reserved it at the library: Pride and Prejudice. I’ve actually never seen ANY of the film adaptations, so hopefully I’ll get a good experience out of reading it. And then, of course, I can go see the movies and drool over Darcy! :)

Anna Karinnina? The Sun Also Rises (for the 2nd time as I didn’t get it in high school)? Of Mice And Men? Ulysses?
I have a feeling I won’t be able to get through more than one, sadly… and I have a more contemporary list as well, including The Devil Wears Prada and The Da Vinci Code… ahem.

This was a really good book, I got into reading it on Thursday afternoon, and finished it over the weekend. I have to read one more classic book to make this goal, but I will still try to read a classic every few books or so.

This book was really good. My favorite English teacher in high school used to refer to it when talking about other books and I was always curious about it. I need to read 2 more classics to meet this goal and then I may revise it, so I will read more.
