How I did it: I enrolled in a dental school through merit. Had to work and concentrate very hard on the task at hand.Though there were a lot of doubts if i could do it in one go .. since my friends were falling left and right, i managed to keep my focus and give a final leap to land as a doctor Lessons & tips: Dont give in to doubts or worry about the future. I want to be a Dr as medicine intriges me so much! The human body and its own ability to handle things that go wrong. It is the most incredible machine. But sometimes it goes wrong, and needs a helping hand, or a bit more.
I am in such admiration of what drs do on a daily basis, and would love to do that to. The moneys not bad either!

I take my MCATs next summer, I think. I’m getting experience in a hospital setting by volunteering, and I believe I have a potential doctor to shadow, a Neurosurgeon. Time will tell how that goes, but it’s exciting, for sure.
Next semester is going to be full of science classes. Yes!

I met with an orthopaedic surgeon for my shoulder awhile ago, and I was just amazed by his level of confidence and decisiveness. It’s made me want to become like him. I want to be a doctor.
